Commercial Lines Marketing/Account Manager

Qualifications:
Please read the qualifications for this position carefully. The successful applicant will have to get up to speed quickly and therefore, we will only consider those who meet all the criteria listed below.

• Must have valid Indiana Property & Casualty Producer license
• 3+ years Commercial Lines experience
• Preference given to candidates with P&C company underwriting experience
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Computer skills needed: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer
• Preference given to candidates with AMS360 experience
• Multi-task with attention given to detail
• Friendly, outgoing personality, team player

 Job Summary

•Market new & renewal accounts to companies for best package
            -qualify accounts by profitability
            -complete underwriter requests
            -maintain task list for accounts in pipeline
            -create professional proposals
            -sell quotes to selected clients on new and renewal accounts
•Manage accounts
            - Manage and service a book of large account commercial lines business.
            - Work with commercial lines producer(s) in handling all the inside service work
                  associated with the client’s program, including all endorsement activity, routine
                  coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal
                 proposals, checking and booking policies.
•Contact prospects
            -schedule producer appointments via cold calling
            -send marketing information to designated demographics
            -maintain prospect/client list in CRM
            -research and maintain company appetite/specialty lists with limitations
            -understand underwriting requirements
•Niche markets
            -process applications received via internet submission
            -prepare proposals
            -contact accounts to close quotes
            -schedule annual account reviews
